Day 1
Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where your personal safari guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Settle in and enjoy the beginning of your East African adventure.
Day 2
Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Depart after breakfast for Tarangire National Park, home to Tanzania’s largest concentration of elephants. The park is also known for its ancient baobab trees and rich birdlife. Enjoy your first exciting game drive through this scenic park.
Day 3
Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
Leave Tarangire and journey through the highlands and across the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive in one of Africa’s greatest wildlife habitats.
Day 4
Full-Day in Serengeti
Spend the entire day exploring the vast Serengeti plains, searching for lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, and depending on the season the spectacular Great Migration. This is Africa at its most wild and beautiful.
Day 5
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before continuing your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the rim of the crater in time to relax and take in panoramic views of this natural wonder.
Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world. After lunch, drive to Lake Manyara, a small but diverse park located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
Day 7
Lake Manyara – Arusha / Departure
Explore Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions, pink flamingos, and lush groundwater forest. After the game drive, return to Arusha for lunch and a day room if needed before your transfer to the airport for departure.
