Look for lions, buffalo, elephants, hippos, hyenas, zebra and other wildlife. There is also a possibility of encountering endangered black rhino, although sightings cannot be guaranteed.

After the crater safari, travel back to Arusha where your seven-day northern Tanzania journey concludes.

Why choose seven days instead of a shorter safari?

Seven days allow more time in Tarangire and Serengeti, reducing the feeling of constantly moving between parks. It is particularly useful for wildlife photography and travellers who prefer a more relaxed safari pace.

Is this safari private?

Yes. The itinerary is designed as a private safari with your own safari vehicle and professional guide, providing greater flexibility during game drives.

Will we see the Big Five?

These destinations provide excellent wildlife opportunities, but animals remain completely wild and no specific sighting can be guaranteed. Ngorongoro provides an opportunity to look for endangered black rhino.

What is the best time for this safari?

The northern circuit can be visited throughout the year. June to October is popular for generally drier safari conditions, while January to March provides green landscapes and seasonal wildlife activity.

Can we choose our accommodation level?

Yes. The safari can be tailored using suitable tented camps and lodges according to your preferred comfort level, location and budget.

Can I add a Serengeti balloon safari?

Yes. A balloon safari can normally be added subject to availability and the Serengeti area included in your final itinerary. It is priced separately.

Can we add Zanzibar after the safari?

Yes. Zanzibar works particularly well after this seven-day safari. We can arrange a bush-and-beach journey with flights, transfers and your preferred island stay.
