Around five to eight safari days works well for many
northern Tanzania journeys. Longer trips allow more
time in the Serengeti, slower travel and combinations

for your dates, but exact herd locations and river
crossings cannot be guaranteed.

Yes. Safari and Zanzibar are one of Tanzania's most
natural combinations. Many travellers spend their
first days exploring wildlife areas and finish with
four to six nights beside the Indian Ocean.

Pack lightweight comfortable clothing, warmer layers
for cool mornings and evenings, comfortable shoes,
sun protection, personal medication, binoculars if
desired and camera equipment. Soft-sided luggage is
